Abundantly Faithful Not Hopelessly Faithless

Updated: February 17, 2024

faithBefore anything else, a blessed, faith-filled new year to you and your family! May the Lord crown your year with His goodness and may your paths drip with abundance! (Psalm 65:11)

The year 2015 has been both very blessed and challenging for me, a year of joy and grief, a year of inner turmoil and peace. Yes, it has been that way for me but what turned the challenging to blessed, the grief to joy and the inner turmoil to peace is FAITH.

As you approach a brand new year, there’s a blank canvass in front of you. Whatever you decide to put in it – your dreams, your aspirations, your goals, your expectations – color it with faith.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:17, NRSV-CE)

So let us all endeavor to live our lives as “abundantly faithful” instead of “hopelessly faithless”. (I actually got the words in quotes from Michael Tyrell, the creator of Wholetones which I listen to everyday.)

Let us make living in faith our #1 personal, I-will-do-whatever-it-takes goal for 2016. Let us all heed God’s call to live by faith and see all that is happening in our lives through the eyes of faith.

Need to boost your faith? I have written an article about it at:
